Explore my qualifications and experience as a French as a Second Language (FSL) educator. This page provides access to my résumé and key information about my skills and experiences.

Degree & Qualifications

I completed a 5 year Honours Specialization in French Studies (French for Teaching) at Western University, where I maintained an overall average above 75%. My undergraduate program provided a strong academic and practical foundation in French language and culture, combining advanced coursework in French literature, French teaching pedagogy, linguistics and second language acquisition. Through linguistics courses, I developed a deep understanding of how languages are learned, including phonetics, syntax, and language development, which directly informs my instructional choices in FSL classrooms. I also completed coursework in translation, strengthening my accuracy, precision, and awareness of cross-linguistic structures. This interdisciplinary training has equipped me with both strong French proficiency and a research-informed approach to teaching French effectively to diverse learners.
